1. A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
I actually do not have any bookish friend's in real life. Except, I just started getting my best friend to read. So, we will see if she continues to pick up books. Lately, they are only books that I have recommended to her. I will get recommendations from My Dad from time to time though.
There are way too many to list. One that I can think of is The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I love the concept and message behind this book. I just have read to read it. I really want to up my classic reading game this year.
I have to read a lot more popular books but one I can think of is Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. This book has gotten some major hype.
Well, there you have it! Another tag completed. What do you think of my answers from above? Feel free to do this tag even if I do not tag you below. Let me know if you do because I love to read other people's answers.

Oh, you should read Dorian Gray! And as for The Devil Wears Prada, I didn't like the way the book ended - it just fell flat for me, and strangely enough, the movie didn't fix that. So... no need to read the book, really.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. Yeah, I was never a huge fan of the movie ending either.
DeleteI am visiting from the Blogger's Pit Stop. I will plan to publish my version of this post at www.askdrho.com by next week. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteTell me when it is up... so I can read it.
DeleteOh, I could name a million books I SHOULD have read by now---if only I could have unlimited reading time!! I definitely want to read The Picture of Dorian Gray at some point too---I agree that the concept is so interesting!

Yeah same here. If only we didn't have to sleep.
DeleteThere are so many classics I haven't read...I always pick them for book clubs....
ReplyDeleteYeah, I for sure need to delve into classics more.
DeleteThat was a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com!
