IT by Stephen King is by far one of my favorite horror novels. It's so twisted but oh so good. Clowns terrify me. I had a hard time reading this book at nighttime.
A Favorite Light Read
There are so many but a recent favorite of mine is The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang. This book has one of my favorite romances ever written.
A Book That Gave You Mixed Emotions
A Book You Recommend to Everyone
My favorite book of all time, To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee. Everyone should read this book at least once in their lifetime. I cannot say enough good things about it.
A Book You Started but Never Finished
My Squirrel Days by Ellie Kemper, I love Ellie but her memoir was super boring to me. I was bummed out that I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Ellie is beyond funny but I didn't laugh once while reading this. I got about halfway through the book and stopped reading it. If I am not feeling a book... I have no problem not finishing it. Reading is supposed to be for enjoyment after all.
A Book with Great Writing
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, there is no surprise that The Great Gatsby is an American Classic. The writing is some of the most beautiful that you will ever read. It is one of my favorite books of all time.
A Book That Left You Wanting More
My Life with the Walter Boys by Ali Novak, I loved reading this book so much. It's so cute and it made me squeal like a girl while reading it. It's so good. I need the second book in my life now. It needs to come out already. There is no release date for the second book yet.
Series with 4 or More Books
One of my favorite series of all time! Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. I will always love these books.
A Book That Wasn’t What You Anticipated
She's With Me by Jessica Cunsolo, I thought this book was going to be predictable but it wasn't in the slightest. It had so much substance behind it than it just being another young adult romance. It is so unbelievably good and one of the best books that I read in 2019. She's With Me is by far a new favorite of mine.

I agree that The Kiss Quotient was a perfect light read! (And I also agree about vanilla cake.) :-)
